Jobs: Senior Digital Design Engineer

Key Job Functions:

  • Product specification and functionality partitioning with system design team
  • Development of optimised RTL designs for FPGA devices encompassing design, verification, implementation and debug activities
  • Co-ordination of design activities with other designers
  • Integration of designs in target platforms


Qualifications/Experience:

  • Honours Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years of digital design experience encompassing RTL design, verification and validation
  • Experience in DSP based designs and the FPGA design flow an advantage
     

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of high speed interface communication standards and protocols (OBSAI/CPRI) and cellular air interface standards
  • Preferable to have knowledge of Xilinx based design flow and Mentor Modelsim simulator
  • Matlab/Simulink (optional) for high level system simulation
  • High degree of innovation and creativity
  • Self motivated individual with the ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
